- Reverse weed and apply Pre-Mask Tape.
- Remove release liner and apply directly to acrylic fabric, adhesive side down and squeegee (Sunbrella and Firesist).
- For Super-Stick Adhesion (Sunbrella only), Iron-On FabTac. Be sure to continuously more iron, do not leave in one spot, then squeegee firmly. Remove pre-mask take and squeegee once more (this method works best when on a solid, flat surface).
- Paint the first coat the same color as the fabric (it does not have to be an exact match). Fan dry for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Now paint the first finish coat and fan dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Then paint the second finish coat and Peel Stencil away wet. A third finish coat may be applied at your discretion. Use a Sharpee magic marker to touch up edges if necessary.
- 100% Acrylic Latex House Paint (non-chalking exterior semi-gloss, i.e. California Paint, Muralo, BenMoore, Sherwin Williams, etc). Use top quality paints only / or use whichever paint and method(s) work for you. Stay away from cheap exterior house paints.
